There has been a lack of western music groups ever since artists like Little Mix, One Direction, and Fifth Harmony left the spotlight. However, there have been some groups on the rise that demands your attention.

*Brick by Brick - Say Now

Say Now is a 3 member girl group that has been formed ever since 2022 but only now gained notable traction with their latest single, 'Brick by Brick'. The sultry R&B track consists of them telling their ex's newest partner that they made their ex into the gentlemen that they are today, hence the line "Know he wasn't born with it, I built that boy by brick by brick." The girls really bodied their performance, both vocals and dance wise. The song reminds me a lot of 'Bills, Bills, Bills' by Destiny's Child and I can't wait to hear their future releases.

*Call My Name - Full Circle Boys

Full Circle Boys is a 5 member boy group that has an interesting background. Prior to the group's formation in 2022, all 5 members were already in the music industry as dancers. By the time the group was formed, every member already knew each other from working in other projects, hence where the name 'Full Circle Boys' originates. Call My Name is a powerful synth ballad that really highlight the boys vocal capabilities despite their dancing background. Fans of One Direction will definitely get a kick out of their discography as they possess the same boy-ish charm of western boy groups from the past. They are a bit more unknown compared to Say Now, but I hope both groups will find great success very soon.
