Aziq – A Cousin Who Suddenly Became a Hangout Buddy

Aziq, he started off just as my cousin, then suddenly ended up in my circle. Basically, my mum and his mum are sisters, my mum being the older one, and his the younger. Back in the day, before the “5 Musketeers” even existed, I used to go to his house in the evenings during our primary school days to play football in front of his place. But when I entered Form 1, I stopped playing and started hanging out more with Wan and Luqman.

One day, I randomly brought him along to hang out with the other two because he was on a long break, he had broken his arm (skill issue lol). Back then, he was super shy like, even shyer than most girls. He was just quiet the whole time. Luckily, Luqman had talked to him before at sekolah agama, so it wasn’t that awkward.

Fast forward to now and his true chaotic side is out, thanks to the other three idiots. Like I mentioned in the “5 Musketeers” blog, we all got closer because of rugby. Me, Luqman, and Aziq always went for trainings and tournaments together. After that, we started inviting the other two to join our hangouts, and somehow it just clicked, with Aziq becoming part of the gang too.

But I won’t lie, he’s a bit cringe sometimes, always trying to act cute on TikTok and Instagram 😩. I don’t have that much to say about him because honestly… I’ve been seeing his face since we were kids, and now I still have to deal with it even when we hang out.
