A Short City Stroll, A Beef Roti Quest
By Mia❤
It started with a craving, one that led me on a short but flavorful walk to the ever-buzzing Bukit Bintang.
I was on a mission to hunt down the popular MON Chinese Muslim Beef Roti, a humble food stall tucked away inside Lot 10 Hutong, known for its juicy beef filling and freshly made crispy roti.
The closer I got, the more the aroma pulled me in, and so did the long line. Yes, it was crowded, and yes, I waited patiently in the queue, but honestly, it was worth every second. The savory, slightly spicy beef wrapped in flaky golden roti was pure street food bliss.
While I was in the area, I couldn't resist doing a little thrifting therapy. I popped into 2nd Street Bundle at Sungei Wang, a haven for secondhand gems. From vintage tees to retro jackets, the place was packed with character and charm.
There’s just something so satisfying about hunting for one-of-a-kind pieces and scoring them at a bargain price? Even better.
The walk, the food, the thrift finds it all reminded me why I love little city adventures like this. Sometimes, the best days come from the simplest plans.
