A Weekend Escape to Johor – Nature, Views & Memories

My short getaway to Johor was just what I needed, a little break from the usual pace, filled with calming views and unexpected fun. One of my first stops was Country Garden, and wow, it truly lived up to its name. 

With its breathtaking seaside views, modern surroundings, and peaceful atmosphere, I felt like I had stepped into a mini escape from the city. The gentle breeze, the sound of waves, and the clean coastal walk made it the perfect spot to relax and take photos.

Later, I visited Zoo Johor, one of the oldest zoos in Malaysia. It was such a wholesome experience. The place had this nostalgic charm to it,simple, cozy, and filled with families enjoying the day. I got to see the animals more up close.

What made it even more special was seeing kids light up with excitement around every corner. There was something heartwarming about it all.

This trip reminded me that beauty doesn’t always have to be far away or expensive. Sometimes, it’s right here in the simple moments,walking by the sea, watching animals, or just soaking in a new place with fresh eyes. Johor gave me that peace, and I left with my camera full and heart fuller.
